Sorry, for my limited english experience... i need to reread more times your posts about that because i don't get it. How i pay for Internet/Phone in Ukraine... 1 telephone line with telephone + adsl router... (+ dialup, if i want...) no problems with anything... you just got the bill in the end of month and pay it (1mbit=8EU, phone costs more). Main problem is ping... which is over 70 for EU, and sometimes i lost route to Sexy server.

Added: So you need a skype? Maybe some tunneling proxy or smth like that for money?

That's expensive, Fixer. But, again, I pay almost 50 for 3 Mb/s in Germany, phone included (some offers are better, though)

2easy is right, it is not easy (!?!?) at all to have a bare internet connection without any piggyback service in Italy. And the costs are quite high, due to the fact that the old monopolistic (does the word exist?) firm still owns the last mile of each and every physical telephone connection in Italy.
I don't see any easy solution or way out to save some money in the good and honest way apart from following Sailor's suggestion: find an agreement with your neighbor and share the connection with him, along with the cost.
But in case this is impossible, are you sure you can't get something like 6 to 10 Mbit dwl for 30 euro/month? Of course it would be the stupid ADSL, but it is still a decent connection for UrT and voip.
I thought prices were gone a little lower recently, but I have to admit I am not on top of this things anymore since when I moved abroad.
