The title is pretty explicit

Hey well i had never had a chance to listen to Husker Du, but i like those! Pretty classic, but i especially like in the first video the classic sound and the simple rythm ideas that worked pretty well.

By the way, last time you posted about the Jello dude, i wanted to anwer this, but forgot:
you probably know this tune, but i like the context:

The first song is from their first and best LP: "Land speed record".
Pretty classic and simple: doesn't this mean good stuff? Seriously, I like simple things and music does not need to be complicated in order to be beautiful. For instance I have a very hard time listening to Dream Theatre (yep, british English!) or Vitalij Kuprij.

Eeeeehhh, "Pull my srtings" :). (I like the context a lot too). Very appropriate for recent DK history.
Molto meglio un pio colpo di pistola.

Yeah, all right, it is not a song, but a nice LP (umpf, yes yes, I know there are CDs now or even something more exotic) I happened to get and listen is this one: http://www.nataliemerchant.com/l/leave-your-sleep. She was the singer of 10000 maniacs, for those who remember them...

I just stumbled on this version, and... if you don't want to cry, you're not forced to click: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jrMp3URM1JI

appo, that's nice and moody! A bit intellectual, but at least it's intelligent :)

They decide and the shotgun sings the song!

I just found this super live where Pete Townshend is on fire!
The only other song i can find from this great performance is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SCNeVHv3Mlg
(i just found on wookiepedia that "The "Shepperton gig" probably had more songs than just Baba O'Riley and Won't Get Fooled Again, according to DVD producer John Albarian - most likely a full-set -, but the reels of that show are presumed too deteriorated for a complete restoration." :'( )

EDIT : HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I just danced to Baba O'Riley, and during an air-guitar of Pete's "windmill" move, i punched the glass ceiling lamp so hard above my head that i sent it exploding all over the kitchen!!! XD
Now, how am i gonna explain that, without using the word "Rock and Roll"?? My excuses for breaking things in this house, they all sound the same, that's so unoriginal :D

Let's give some new life to this thread. Yes, well, it is an euphemism.
